Service Terms

By registering for or participating in any Mechastra event, you agree to these Service Terms and event-specific rules published at registration.

Eligibility requirements including age, team composition, and category must be met. False or incomplete information may lead to disqualification without refund.

Team captains are responsible for ensuring all members and guardians accept these terms before competition day.

Registration fees are non-refundable except where an event is cancelled by Mechastra or rescheduled beyond 30 days.

Early-bird and group discounts apply as published. Proof of institution or club affiliation may be required for discounted rates.

Payment confirmation and team ID are required for arena access and technical inspection.

Participants must follow published rules, respect officials and peers, and maintain ethical behaviour throughout all competition phases.

Unsportsmanlike conduct, tampering, plagiarism of designs, or safety violations may result in immediate disqualification and future participation restrictions.

Judges' decisions on rule interpretation are final during the event. Formal appeals must be submitted in writing within 24 hours.

Mechastra retains rights to event branding, documentation, and official media. Participants grant permission for promotional use of event photos and videos unless opted out in writing.

Original robot designs remain the property of their creators. Mechastra may showcase winning builds for educational purposes with attribution.

Participation is at your own risk. Mechastra is not liable for injury, loss, or property damage except where required by applicable law.

We may update terms, schedules, or rules. Material changes will be communicated to registered participants when reasonably possible.

Force majeure events (natural disasters, government restrictions) may lead to postponement without liability for incidental costs.
